Any personal information or material sent to this Website are subject to our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy forms a part of these Terms and Conditions.

Unless otherwise indicated, all copyright and other intellectual property rights in all information, data, text, graphics, images, logos, trade marks and other materials on this Website are the property of Lion or are included with the permission of the relevant owner.

  • any act that would constitute a breach of either the privacy (including uploading personal information without the concerned individual's consent) or any other of the legal rights of individuals;
  • using this Website to defame or libel Lion, its employees or other individuals or acting in such a way that brings into disrepute the good name of Lion ;
  • uploading files that contain viruses that may cause damage to the property of Lion or the property of other individuals.

 

TERMINATION

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to this Website or any feature of this Website or any feature or part thereof at any time. Any indemnities given by you and limitations on our liability will survive such termination. Any termination of your right to use or access any part of this Website will not affect any rights which have accrued to or have been accrued by either you or us prior to termination.

GOVERNING LAW

You and Lion agree that any controversy or claim arising from or pertaining to the use of this Website shall be governed by the laws of New Zealand. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS –SCORE WITH STEINLAGER PROMOTION


1) Information relating to the “Score with Steinlager” Promotion (“Promotion”) form part of these terms and conditions.  By participating, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Eligibility

2) The Promotion is open to residents of New Zealand who are 18 years and over.  Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to participate.

Participation in the Promotion

3) The Promotion commences on 01/06/2013 and closes 23.59 on 31/10/2013 (“Promotion Period”).  No unique codes, orders or entries will be accepted after this time.

4) To participate, within the Promotion Period, you must

a) collect unique code(s) (“Unique Code”);
b) visit www.steinlager.co.nz;
c) register your required details to create your own ‘Score with Steinlager’ profile (“Profile”); and
d) enter Unique Code(s) against your Profile.

5) Entrants can collect Unique Codes by:

a) purchasing a specially marked promotional pack of Steinlager Classic or Pure and scratching the panel on the back label of a bottle to reveal a Unique Code;

b) purchasing a specially marked promotional bottle of Steinlager from participating outlet and scratching the panel on the back label of a bottle to reveal a Unique Code; or

c) receiving a Unique Code directly from the Promoter, when the Promoter in its sole discretion chooses from time to time to give away a Unique Code.


6) Once you have entered a Unique Code, your Profile will be automatically credited the number of points (“Steinlager Points”) (either 5, 10, 15 or 20 points) randomly allocated to that Unique Code.

7) You can accumulate Steinlager Points on your Profile by entering multiple Unique Codes which you have collected. Each Unique Code may only be used once. Any Steinlager Points remaining at the end of the Promotion Period will be forfeited.

8) By following instructions on the website (www.steinlager.co.nz), you can use your Steinlager Points to acquire selected Steinlager supporter’s gear (“Steinlager Supporter’s Gear”) – see clauses 9 to 13. You will also be eligible for entry into the prize drawn to win one of two Steinlager Sports Lounges (“Prize”) – see clauses 14 to 22.

Steinlager Supporter’s Gear

9) A person may acquire Steinlager Supporter’s Gear by logging into his/her Profile and selecting a specific item and confirming order of it. The number of Steinlager Points required for the selected Steinlager Supporter’s Gear item will be deducted from the total number of Steinlager Points entered against the person’s Profile. An email will be sent to the email address registered against a person’s Profile upon confirming the order of a Steinlager Supporter’s Gear item.

10) There is no limit on the number of Steinlager Supporter’s Gear items one person can acquire per day – the only requirement is that his/ her Profile has sufficient Steinlager Points credited to it.

11) The number and description of Steinlager Supporter’s Gear items available, and the number of Steinlager Points needed to acquire that particular item, are set out below:

a) 200 x Travel bags – 800 Steinlager Points each;
b) 120 x Watches – 700 Steinlager Points each;
c) 500 x Rugby Jerseys – 500 Steinlager Points each;
d) 300 x Woolen Scarves – 350 Steinlager Points each;
e) 2500 x T-Shirts – 200 Steinlager Points each;
f) 1000 x Wallets – 150 Steinlager Points each; and
g) 3000 x Blade Openers – 100 Steinlager Points each.

No cash will be exchanged.

12) Steinlager Supporter’s Gear is available until the end of the Promotion Period or while stocks last. Throughout the Promotion Period, the number of each Steinlager Supporter’s Gear item remaining will be displayed and regularly updated. 

13) Steinlager Supporter’s Gear will be delivered within 10 working days of a person confirming its order.  

Prize Draw

14) Entrants will receive one entry into the prize draw upon entering their first Unique Code against their Profile. In addition, entrants will also receive a limit of one entry per week (Saturday – Friday) within which they enter a Unique Code(s).

15) The prize draw will take place on 04/11/2013. The first two valid entries drawn will each receive a Prize.

16) The winners of the prize draw will be notified by telephone or email within 2 days of the draw.

17) Each Prize includes:

a) a projector;
b) a projector screen;
c) a speaker tower;
d) a recliner with built in chiller;
e) a bar leaner;
f) 2 x bar stools;
g) a personalised (your name inserted) bar table;
h) a bar fridge; and
i) a 12 month SKY Digital subscription (SKY Sport Package - details at clauses 18 - 20),

in total, valued at $10,000 The prize(s) are the sole responsibility of the winner.

18) The SKY subscription awarded to the winners pursuant to clause 17 (i) above is subject to the terms and conditions and privacy policy of SKY Network Television Limited (“SKY”), to which the winners agree to. For SKY terms and conditions and privacy policy see http://www.skytv.co.nz/ . The Promoter and its related bodies corporate are not responsible or liable for any direct or indirect loss suffered by a winner as a direct or indirect result of the conduct of SKY or the failure of the winner to comply with SKY terms and conditions.

19) The SKY subscription awarded is exclusive of any applicable joining fee, bond or installation cost, including any alterations to the winners’ residences needed to install the equipment. The winners are responsible for payment of any pay-per-view programming or additional products or services which may incur additional fees throughout the duration of the subscription period as well as any upgrades to the package or equipment. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for the failure of the winner to comply with SKY terms and conditions.

20) It is a condition of SKY that subscribers are subject to credit checks and analysis and that SKY is satisfied with the results. The winners agree to the disclosure and use of their personal information collected by the Promoter to SKY (and any credit agency) for this purpose. 

21) The Prizes will be delivered within 10 working days of the Promoter confirming the winners’ details and acceptance of the Prizes (subject to any delay in personalizing the bar table or providing the SKY subscription). 

22) All winners are subject to verification, including without limitation, complete compliance with these terms and conditions. If attempted notification is returned as undeliverable, if (despite reasonable efforts by the Promoter to contact a winner) a winner does not respond to attempted notification within 10 working days, if a winner cannot be verified or if a winner is otherwise unable to accept their status as winner; their selection as a winner will be forfeited and an alternative winner may be selected provided sufficient time remains, in the Promoter’s sole discretion. No financial or other compensation will be given to the forfeiter. 

General

23) The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of participants (including a participant’s age, identity and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits a Unique Code, order or entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion.

24) Steinlager Supporter’s Gear and the Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. 

25) The Promoter’s decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into. 

26) In the event that any Steinlager Supporter’s Gear item or Prize become unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter may substitute a gift/ prize of equal or greater value.

27) The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive a Unique Code, order or entry as a direct or indirect result of a technical problem of any kind or any traffic congestion on the internet or any website.  Unique Codes, orders and entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the competition database, not at the time of transmission by the participant. 

28) Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including, but not limited to the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for, and the participants release the Promoter from, any loss, claim, damage or injury to person or property (including computer systems and servers), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, as a result of the participation of a person in this Promotion, the conduct of this Promotion generally or use of an item/ Prize.

29) Without limiting the foregoing, the Promoter assumes no responsibility for, and the participants release the Promoter from, any loss, claim, damage or injury to person or property if, for any reason beyond the Promoter's reasonable control (e.g. due to computer viruses, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures etc.) this Promotion is not able to be conducted as planned and/or the Promotion's administration, security, fairness or integrity are corrupted or affected.  Further, in such circumstances, the Promoter invalidate any Unique Codes, orders or entries of any individual in any way involved in interfering or tampering with the conduct of the Promotion or abusing the communication system upon which the Promotion is being conducted.

30) Entrants may be refused service of alcohol if it would breach any relevant laws or codes including those relating to the Code of Practice for Responsible Service of Alcohol.

31) Details from all entries will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this Promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the Promotion), facilitating orders and item/ Prize delivery and for publicity purposes surrounding this Promotion.  As set out in clause 20, this information will be disclosed to and used by SKY for the purpose of credit checking and other necessary services. By entering this Promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described.  Entrants may access and/or change their data by logging into their Profile and updating their registration details. 33) The Promoter may at any time, modify or alter the Promotion or any aspect of the Promotion without prior notice. Notification of such modifications will be posted on www.steinlager.co.nz.

FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS – Steinlager Pure on Tap Promotion

1) Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2) The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram. You understand that you are providing your information to the Promoter and not to Instagram.

3) INSTAGRAM is a trade mark of Instagram.

Entry

4) Entry is open to residents of New Zealand who are 18 years and over. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.

5) To enter,

a) download the Instagram application on your mobile device and set up an account (if you have not already done so);

b) ensure that your Instagram account privacy setting is turned to 'public';

c) use the Instagram application on your mobile device to take a photograph of yourself with the Steinlager Pure Tap visible in the photo at a participating outlet; and

d) upload the photo to Instagram with the hashtag #pureontap and the name of the outlet in the photo caption.

6) Limit of one entry per Instagram user account per day.

7) The promotion commences on 01/07/2013 and ends at 23:59pm on 31/07/2013. No entries will be accepted after this time.

8) The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion.

Entry Criteria

9) Entries must comply with the following terms and conditions to qualify as a valid entry:

a) The entry must be original;

b) Entries must be submitted by an individual (no group entries will be allowed);

c) The entry must not contain or refer to any third party branded food or beverage products other than Lion; it must not contain or reference any third party names, logos and/or trade marks; and

d) The entry must not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party, including but not limited to the use of images which are subject to copyright, unless you are the copyright owner or have the required permission from the copyright owner.

10) Entries will be reviewed for content, however, such review does not relieve you from responsibility and compliance with these terms and conditions. Entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions or that otherwise contain prohibited, or inappropriate content as determined by the Promoter, in its sole discretion, will be disqualified and will not be considered eligible. The Promoter makes the final determination as to which entries are eligible to take part in the promotion and no correspondence will be entered into.

11) You agree that you are fully responsible for the content you submit. The Promoter shall not be liable in any way for such content to the full extent permitted by law. The Promoter may remove any content without notice for any reason whatsoever. You warrant and agree that:

a) you will not submit any content that is unlawful or fraudulent, or that the Promoter may deem in breach of any intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights, defamatory, obscene, derogatory, pornographic, sexually inappropriate, violent, abusive, harassing, threatening, objectionable with respect to race, religion, origin or gender, not suitable for children aged under 15, or otherwise unsuitable for publication;

b) you will obtain full prior consent from any person who has jointly created or has any rights in the content, to the uses and terms herein;

c) your content shall not contain viruses or cause injury or harm to any person or entity; and

d) you will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation, those governing copyright, content, defamation, privacy, publicity and the access or use of others' computer or communication systems.

12) Without limiting any other terms herein, you indemnify the Promoter for any breach of the above terms.

Prize Draw

13) The Promotion prize draws will take place at 4:00pm on:

a) 08/07/2013 for all entries received from all participating outlets between 01/07/2013 and 23:59 07/07/2013;

b) 15/07/2013 for all entries received from all participating outlets between 08/07/2013 and 23:59 14/07/2013;

c) 22/07/2013 for all entries received from all participating outlets between 15/07/2013 and 23:59 21/07/2013;

d) 29/07/2013 for all entries received from all participating outlets between 22/07/2013 and 23:59 28/07/2013; and

e) 05/08/2013 for all entries received from all participating outlets between 29/07/2013 and 23:59 04/08/2013.

The first four (4) valid entries drawn on each date will receive prizes. Limit of one prize per Instagram user account for each draw.

14) The winner(s) will be notified by direct message on the winner's Instagram user account within 2 days of the relevant draw date.

15) If attempted notification is returned as undeliverable, if despite reasonable efforts being made by the Promoter, the winner cannot be contacted within 10 working days, if a winner cannot be verified or if a winner is otherwise unable to accept their status as winner, their selection as a winner will be forfeited and an alternative winner may be selected provided sufficient time remains, in the Promoter's sole discretion

Prize

16) Prizes consist of a Stolen Girlfriends Club voucher to the value of $50. The prize(s) are the sole responsibility of the winner.

17) The prize is subject to the terms and conditions of Stolen Girlfriends Club (see http://www.stolengirlfriendsclub.com/pages/terms-and-conditions) and the Promoter and its related bodies corporate are not responsible or liable for any direct or indirect loss suffered by any entrant as a direct or indirect result of the conduct of Stolen Girlfriend Club.

18) Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. The judge's decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into.

19) In the event that any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

General

20) The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry as a direct or indirect result of a technical problem of any kind or any traffic congestion on the internet or any website. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the competition database, not at the time of transmission by the entrant. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for, and the entrants release the Promoter from, any loss, claim, damage or injury to person or property (including computer systems and servers) as a result of the participation of the entrant in this promotion or the conduct of this promotion generally.

21) Without limiting the foregoing, the Promoter assumes no responsibility for, and the entrants release the Promoter from, any loss, claim, damage or injury to person or property if, for any reason beyond the Promoter's reasonable control (e.g. due to computer viruses, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures etc), this promotion is not able to be conducted as planned and/or the promotion's administration, security, fairness or integrity are corrupted or affected. Further, in such circumstances, the Promoter may modify or suspend the promotion and/or invalidate any entries of any individual in any way involved in interfering or tampering with the conduct of the promotion or abusing the communication system upon which the promotion is being conducted.

22) Entrants may be refused service of alcohol or provision of an alcoholic beverage prize if it would breach any relevant laws or codes including those relating to the Code of Practice for Responsible Service of Alcohol.

23) The Promoter may at any time, modify or alter the promotion or any aspect of the promotion without prior notice. Notification of such modifications will be posted on the Steinlager webpage.

24) Entrants will direct any questions, comments or complaints regarding the promotion to the Promoter, and not to Instagram or Facebook. Any questions can be directed to info@steinlager.co.nz.

Privacy / Personal Information

25) Details from all entries will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for publicity purposes surrounding this promotion. 4) Limit of one entry per valid email address, per person.

5) The promotion commences on 19/07/2013 and closes 23.59 on 02/08/2013. No entries will be accepted after this time.

6) The draw will take place on 04/08/2013. The first valid entry drawn will receive the prize.

7) The winner(s) will be notified by email by no later than 06/08/2013.

Prizes

8) Prizes consist of 1 x Steinlager Speaker Tower, valued at approximately $399.00. The prize is the sole responsibility of the winner.

9) Prize are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. The judge's decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into.

10) In the event that any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

Liability

When you submit any materials in relation to the Promotion including comments, (“Content”), you, unless the Promoter advises otherwise, license and grant the Promoter, its affiliates and sub-licensees a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display such Content for any purpose in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability. You agree not to assert any moral rights in relation to such use, where the moral rights in respect of the Content are yours to assert. You warrant that you have the full authority to grant these rights.



16. You agree that you are fully responsible for the Content you submit. The Promoter shall not be liable in any way for such Content to the full extent permitted by law. The Promoter may remove any Content without notice for any reason whatsoever. You warrant and agree that:

a. you will not submit any Content that is unlawful or fraudulent, or that the Promoter may deem in breach of any intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights, defamatory, obscene, derogatory, pornographic, sexually inappropriate, violent, abusive, harassing, threatening, objectionable with respect to race, religion, origin or gender, not suitable for children aged under 15, or otherwise unsuitable for publication;

b. you will obtain full prior consent from any person who has jointly created or has any rights in the Content, to the uses and terms herein;

c. your Content shall not contain viruses or cause injury or harm to any person or entity; and

d. you will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation, those governing copyright, content, defamation, privacy, publicity and the access or use of others' computer or communication systems. Without limiting any other terms herein, you indemnify the Promoter for any breach of the above terms.

17. All entries submitted become the property of the Promoter. As a condition of entering into the Promotion, you license the Promoter and its authorised agents to use your entry in any media for an unlimited period for any reason including but not limited to future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes. You also warrant to the Promoter that each entry submitted is an original artistic work that does not infringe the rights of any third party. You agree to indemnify the Promoter against all costs and claims by third parties arising from a breach of this warranty.

PRIZE DRAWS AND WINNER NOTIFICATION

18. The Promoter and its authorized agents in their sole discretion will select the winners of the Summer Giveaway Promotion from all eligible entries submitted during the Entry Period start date and the date of the relevant draw. The winners will be selected on each Monday at 15.00pm, with the final draw being held Monday 20th January 2014 at 15.00pm. There are 4 prize draws and 20 winners in total. If an entrant wins a Prize Draw, he/she will no longer be eligible for future Prize. There is one prize available to be won per person during the Promotion.



19. Winners will be notified within 2 days of the winner selection through the private message function on Facebook. Once the Winners have been notified, the Winners will then be announced to the public on the Steinlager Facebook page.


20. Prizes will be couriered to each winner’s address by 31 January 2014.



21. If a winner cannot be notified or is unable to accept his/her status as winner for any reason, his/her selection as winner will be forfeited and an alternative winner may be selected provided sufficient time remains, in the Promoter's sole discretion.

PRIZES

22. Each Summer Giveaway prize consists of a limited edition Steinlager-inspired Huffer T-Shirt valued at $100.

23. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. The Promoter's decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into. In the event that the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.


24. The prize may be subject to the terms and conditions of a third party supplier. If this is the case, the Promoter and its related bodies corporate are not responsible or liable for any direct or indirect loss suffered by any entrant as a direct or indirect result of the conduct of the third party supplier.

INFORMATION/PRIVACY

25. All entries received will remain the property of the Promoter. The information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the Promotion. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to third parties, to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting the Promotion (including conducting Police Checks) or communicating with entrants. Entry is conditional on providing this information and by entering the Promotion entrants agree to the use of this information as described.

LIABILITY

26. All entrants release and indemnify Facebook and the Promoter from any and all direct or indirect loss or injury suffered by Facebook or the Promoter and arising in connection with the Promotion or the Prize.



27. Participants must comply with all requirements of the Promoter including requirements specified in the Terms and Conditions. The Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, declare any or all entries made by an entrant invalid if the entrant:

a. fails to establish their entitlement to enter the Promotion to the Promoter's satisfaction;

b. tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion;

c. submits an entry which in the Promoter's opinion is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions;
d. acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person; or
e. in the opinion of Promoter, engages in conduct in entering the Promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or Promoter.

28. If for any reason any aspect of the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, or invalidate any affected entries.



29. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including but not limited to the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following:

(a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);
(b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
(c) any entry that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; or
(d) use of a prize.

GENERAL

30. The Promoter may at any time, modify or alter the Promotion or any aspect of the Promotion without prior notice.  Notification of such modifications will be posted on the Steinlager Facebook page.



31. Entrants will direct any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Promotion to the Promoter, and not to Facebook.  Any questions can be directed to info@steinlager.co.nz
