In 2007 we said ‘no’ to additives in our beer and drew a line with four ingredients.

Barley, water, yeast and a new variety of hop called Pacific Jade that was developed exclusively for Steinlager Pure – all sourced from the finest place on earth, New Zealand.

It was a stake in the ground to stand for the things that matter to us most, and a poke of a stick at the things that don’t.
